Data Communication Solutions (DCS) attended two conferences in June and July 2017: GS1 Connect and Inforum. Both were informative experiences that gave DCS the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of organizations.
DCS attended the GS1 Connect 2017 conference on June 20-22. The conference, focused largely on standardization, gave supply chain partners the chance to connect and learn how to improve their businesses through educational programs, exhibits, and conference sessions. Hot topics at the conference included Amazon’s purchase of Whole Foods and Walmart’s purchase of Jet.com. Attendees learned how they could best adjust to these changes in the business environment. DCS attended the Inforum 2017 conference on July 10-12. The conference featured educational sessions for a wide variety of industries and products. DCS attended a number of sessions that outlined some of the new Infor offerings. We also met with a number of existing clients and partners within the Infor Alliance partnerships to solidify their ongoing relationships with DCS. As part of the Inforum experience, clients and partners converged in The Hub. This allowed them to interact with Infor’s sponsors and exhibitors, learn from Infor product experts, and participate in demos and Speed Sessions.
