If you are a Trading Partner of Belk, you need to know the testing phase for their Project Smart EDI Initiative is underway and you must be compliant by November 3, 2013 to avoid a disruption of service, as well as additional compliance charges.
Also note that there have been revisions to many of the specifications. Don’t presume you have the current specs if you downloaded them when the testing notice first came out.
Below you will find the revised and final Guidelines Documents as well as an FAQ document:
- Belk 810 V4.1 Final
- Belk 850 V4.1 Final
- Belk 856 V4.1 Final
- Belk 856 V4.2 Final
- Belk 860 V4.1 Final
- Belk UCC128 Label V4.0 – Domestic
- Belk Project Smart EDI FAQ
Belk asks that you review all of the new guidelines especially the 856 and UCC128, as they contain clarifications and corrections from previous versions. Sample data is provided at the end of each document and is the same data GXS will be using to test with.
The FAQ contains the most common questions as well as information you should review prior to registering with GXS about which transactions you select.
Remember, these new maps go-live on November 3, 2013, and if you do not receive GXS certification we will not have an EDI profile for you.
*Belk asks that you do not send any transactions under these maps until November 3, 2013
