Safeguard vital data to keep software running efficiently
TrustedLink Windows is based on an MS Access database. As such, the stwfw32.mdb database should be less than 40 MB in size. This equates to approximately 5,000 documents in all of the folders. The database is kept to this size through archiving and by performing system maintenance. If these steps are not performed on a regular basis, the software will noticeably slow down, require unreasonable amounts of time to complete simple tasks, and be at risk of crashing. Archiving removes data directly from the database, making the system more efficient, but can be easily accessed if necessary.
