TrustedLink and BizManager

When should I step up? How much effort?

Briefly, the key time to set up is when your volume has grown and server processing and reporting capabilities are needed. BizManager is TrustedLink on steroids. EDI process automation is its forte’.

It is both powerful and complex. To simplify, trading partners set the data transmission (AS2, VAN, or FTP). Transformation Parties set the trading partner profiles and assign the maps.

EDI maps are readily transported from TLW Mapper to BizLink Mapper, as you would expect. With minor modifications it is rather straight forward, but not trivial. A standard conversion of around 25 customers will take about 2 weeks.
