It is both powerful and complex. To confuse the novice, Trading Partners sets the data transmission (AS2, VAN, or FTP). Transformation Parties sets the Trading Partner profiles and assigns the maps.
EDI maps and trading partner profiles readily move up, as you would expect. It’s straight forward, but not trivial. A straight conversion of about 25 customers takes about 2 weeks.
